Sharpen your pencils kids, Nevermore Academy is back in session. Netflix has officially unveiled the first teaser trailer for Wednesday Season 2 (on a Wednesday, nonetheless), confirming that the macabre misadventures of Wednesday Addams will continue in a two-part rollout, with Part 1 debuting on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 following on September 3.

In the trailer, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) glides through airport security with her signature deadpan glare and a carry-on full of concealed weaponry—including brass knuckles, a butterfly knife, and a machete. But it’s a bottle of sunscreen (packed by her disembodied companion, Thing) that gets flagged.

This season, Wednesday is joined at school by her little brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), who begins his first year at Nevermore Academy. The full clan—including Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmán), and Grandmama (Joanna Lumley)—also descend on campus. Morticia notes this is the first time Wednesday has willingly returned to school, and her daughter deadpans back, “It’s like returning to the scene of a crime—I already know where the bodies are buried.”

The rest of the trailer sees Wednesday diving into fresh supernatural mysteries, creepy dolls, and tangled relationships—including a reunion with her colorful and spirited roommate Enid (Emma Myers). New faces join the cast, too, most notably Steve Buscemi as Principal Barry Dort, and Lady Gaga in a yet-to-be-revealed guest appearance.
Watch the teaser now and get ready to sharpen your knives: Wednesday is just getting started.
