Welcome to LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza 2021 Party

The collection travels to Mexico with kaleidoscope of color, natural textures and exotic fruit motifs.

LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza captures creative director Jonathan Anderson’s idea of escapism. Anderson had summer in the city in mind when creating the collection with the carefree spirit of seaside dressing carried from the beach into everyday life.

“I’m after that vibrant zing of sunny Balearic effortlessness, channeled through uncomplicated pieces of clothing and accessories that are easy to wear as they are craft-led, lit by the tough of the hand,” explained Anderson.

Now that LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza are offering pieces for both men and women, Anderson decided to widen its scope. The collection introduces new shapes such as a deconstructed blazer for men and an array of dresses and tops mixed with trousers for women.

The collection includes relaxed staples such as dresses, sweatshirts, drawstring shorts, and loose trousers as a base. Pieces are inspired by archive prints like parrots, doves, and crocuses as well as a playfully psychedelic interpretation of the LOEWE logo, drawn from Paula’s founders Armin Heinemann and Stuart Rudnick.

Moon prints turn workwear-inspired chambray pieces into dreamy pieces. There are the Anagram baskets in Iraca Palm, woven in Colombia by female artisans part of the Corporación Oficio and the NGO Arte, an artisan collective that helps these women to become economically independent and educate their children. Ecru and navy canvas with leather Anagram, calf leather sandals embellished with metallic dice, and chunky sandals with point sellier top-stitching.

Lastly, stating, “Summer is heralded as a way of being, not just a season: a mindset that works all year long. A happily energizing one.”
