Tommy Girl isn’t reinvented; she evolves. In collaboration with Fashion Insider and Guest Creative Advisor Aleali May, the newest Tommy Jeans collection marks a new era of the Tommy Girl.

Debuting first as a fragrance, Tommy Girl has grown to be an American pop culture icon in her own right, as an empowering, aspirational figure for the youth. This newest appearance is rooted in the old her, taking inspiration from retro Tommy ads, while carving a new identity—a new conversation.

As May advises at the capsule’s helm, she brings her overarching eye for fashion and culture with her connection to LA’s creative scene in her back pocket. “To me, Tommy Girl has always been a movement—an attitude that defined a generation and continues to evolve with the next,” says Aleali May. “This isn’t about nostalgia—it’s about celebrating every girl’s way of being unapologetically herself.”

A nostalgic varsity jacket paired with a denim skirt, a denim bandeau top, and hyper-distressed baggy star-patched jeans—new inspiration is woven in the seams of Tommy’s throwback silhouettes. 

The fresh energy of the defining figure is modelled by a rich cast of influential style risk-takers: IVE’s Jang Won-Young, Aleali May, Samara Cyn, Lindsay Vrckovnik, and Eniola Abioro.

“She’s not just one girl–she’s every girl,” says Won-Young. “Tommy Girl has always been about community, about that energy where everyone is welcome, and everyone can be that girl.”
