Willy Chavarria brings the beauty of country and streetwear together in his Fall/Winter 2024 collection. With a deeply personal approach, Chavarria focuses on the true human nature to love and protect for the brand’s latest lineup. The looks delve into the clothing he grew up observing around him and pay homage to his Mexican-American heritage. A multitude of influences blends together to create a beautiful new style that can only be done by Chavarria.

Born in California, Chavarria introduced clear Western influences like cowboy hats and styled them with suits to create a new look, giving ‘you can take the boy out of the country, but not the country out of the boy’, a whole new meaning. Catholic imagery was also in full effect with beautiful crosses and veils adorning many of the looks. Black leather material was contrasted with houndstooth and tweed to deliver looks that mix street with preppy style. While the majority of looks were menswear, womenswear was sprinkled throughout and multiple female models wore more masculine suits, proving that the blurred lines of this show extend to gender.

“Sometimes looks on a runway can’t paint the full picture. We need to see the garments move throughout a life experience. I hope to share a depth in what clothing means to me through this presentation”, said Willy Chavarria.

The front row was filled with larger-than-life personalities as Sam Smith, Becky G, Julia Fox, Amanda Lepore, Aquaria, Richie Shazam, and more attended the show.
