Yesterday Christina Aguilera took to social media to cryptically tease what we now know to be her Las Vegas show, The Xperience. The power-house vocalist shined bright like a diamond, or rather like a rhinestone, with every inch of her face covered in the sparkly gems. Giving us life, glam and extravaganza, the jewel-encrusted Xtina struck a pose as her signature blonde tresses, tussled and teased, blew in the wind. The video sparked a media frenzy of speculation, from a new magazine cover to many assuming the video was a teaser for a forthcoming album.
Today, putting all rumors to rest Christina Aguilera set the record straight with the announcement of her Vegas residency. Well on its way to becoming the new Hollywood, Vegas acts now as a stage to the world’s greatest performers. From classic acts like Cher, Mariah Carey and Britney to 2019’s newcomers including Gaga and Cardi B, there seems to be a rebirth of sin city. It only makes sense that pop diva Xtina also throws her hat into the ring.
