Last night in the heart of Brooklyn, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs descended upon the Kings Theatre to reclaim their punk throne. After a nearly four-year hiatus, the band is officially back in the limelight to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the seminal album Fever To Tell — a musical achievement that demonstrated the band’s exciting demonic energy and Karen O’s lacquered vocals.

The band unleashed a gut-busting 17-song set that soared high among their dedicated legion of fans, performing tracks from all of their celebrated albums, including Fever To Tell, Show Your Bones, and It’s Blitz. But the highlight of the night was when the lipstick-smeared frontwoman lassoed her long mic over her head wearing tattered Christian Joy, ensuing chaos across the venue. The show was pure euphoria and proof that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, despite making a comeback, never lost their spark in the first place.
