After five years, Yoko Ono has returned with the announcement of a new album: Warzone. The album, including 13 reimagined songs from 1970 to 2009, will be released on October 19 via her son Sean Ono Lennon’s co-run label collective Chimera Music. The title track and first single, "Warzone", from her 1996 album Rising, is out now.

“I like to create things in a new way,” Yoko said about her desire to reimagine her past hits. “Every day things change.”

The tracklist includes a version of her late husband John Lennon's 1971 song "Imagine", which she has a registered songwriting credit for.

Yoko's last studio album, Take Me to the Land of Hell, was released in 2013, but she reissued her albums Fly, Approximately Infinite Universe, and Feeling the Space last year.
