YOOX Collaborates With Three Visionary Artists on Exclusive “Our House” Capsule Collection

YOOX partners with Brandon Blackwood and Reginald Sylvester II for a capsule collection curated by Tschabalala Self.

The globally renowned online store for fashion, design, and art—YOOX—is teaming up with three NYC-based creative makers and shakers who are moving the art world forward. Curated by Tschabalala Self, the capsule collection went live, exclusively on YOOX, on Oct. 19 and is released in limited quantities. Self collaborated with artists Brandon Blackwood and Reginald Sylvester II on unique objects for daily use for this collection, entitled “Our House.”

Each of these artists have come together to unite artistic paths and collaborate on this project, when so much else has been centered on separation and individualism. Blackwood combines practicality and aesthetic design with the Kuei Bag, while Sylvester intertwines functionality and style with the Candle Vessel. Self worked with both artists, designing the textile pattern for Blackwood’s Kuei Bag and the packaging for Sylvester’s Candle Vessel.

“I am thrilled to present this project which allows audiences to interact with our creative practices in an accessible and tangible way,” says Self.

This notion of interaction, collaboration, and connection across creative disciplines is at the heart of this collection. These three visionaries aim to disband the bounds between art, fashion, and design by embracing the power of dialogue and communication across fields.

“Our House” is a part of the YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP’s People Positive commitment to use its platforms and global influence for the promotion of various entities—campaigns, organizations, businesses, and individuals—that advocate for an inclusive fashion and creative industry. This collection is in response to the 2030 sustainability commitment, Infinity.
