YOOX Drops Built 2 Last, a Collaboration with Propaganda
Keywords: longevity and sustainability
A snake that twists to an infinite symbol announces YOOX’s latest collaboration with Propaganda, Built 2 Last. The message here is quite clear: the collection is intended to last over time and bring out the values and importance of long-lasting fashion.
Established in 2000 and founded on quality and social commitment, YOOX is the world’s leading online store for fashion, design and art that lasts a lifetime and beyond. Born in Rome in 2006, Propaganda, an underground network of artists and professionals originates from rap language and represents street culture. When YOOX meets Propaganda, the capsule is certainly characterized by a strong urban accent that combines the classic and unfiltered language of streetwear.
Price ranging from $24 to $103, the capsule is made up of different genderless garments, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, buckets and bandanas. All the garments in the collection are distinguished by the iconic snake logo of Propaganda, artwork created by the roman artist Scarful. Carved in the rock, the logo is revisited in an unprecedented version to show a symbol of the values of long-lasting fashion.
The garments are in heavy cotton, a high-quality material that conveys the concept of timeless, a fabric that survives to time and wear. The color palette is inspired by natural colors and sustainable dyes. A pop of pink, black, white, beige and military green are the leading colors in the collection. Built 2 Last means this: clothes with the lowest possible environmental impact, destined to last over the years.
