You’ll be Blasting Justine Skye’s New Album All Summer

The 25-year-old Brooklyn-born singer defies genres with Space & Time.

Yesterday, Justine Skye welcomed the release of her new album, Space & Time, in true Justine fashion, with a star-studded New York City album release party. And today, her highly-anticipated album is available to stream on all music platforms. “The bad b*tch manual” as Justine endearingly calls it, features 11 songs and has listeners channeling their most confident, happiest iteration of themselves.

“After listening through the full body of work a couple of times, it really just embodied exactly everything that I’ve always wanted to be, which is the epitome of a bad bitch,” says Skye. “Hopefully this gives the listeners a different level of confidence that I found while creating it—that it makes people feel as good as it made me feel.”

The record also includes a guest spot from Justin Timberlake and is produced by Timbaland, who she started working with through live sessions on Instagram. Traversing R&B, pop and reggae-fusion, Space & Time blends all the genres into a smooth, infectious sound.

“This was the first time I actually sat down and really thought it through and, I think, the first time that I’m actually saying a lot of the things that I always probably wanted to but didn’t know how to,” she said.

Last night, the singer-songwriter ushered in her latest project with an equally headbanging album release party at Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge in New York City. With Jus Ske on DJ, A$AP Ferg, Luka Sabbat, Renell Medrano and other friends tuned in on the artist’s latest songs. Among the songs, “In My Bag,” a clear crowd favorite, which was welcomed by a crowd who was ready to put the pandemic aside and just dance.
