When it comes to choosing the ultimate workout set it’s important to consider the following: high impact or low impact? Breathable or secure? Shorts or leggings? Those may seem redundant but you’d be surprised how often we accustom the wrong set to the wrong sport. For instance, if you suspect a New York Pilates class on the horizon, it would be unfitting to choose a high impact bra and running shorts. Though if you’re cruising on down to Barry’s Bootcamp for a heavily sweat induced HIIT session, it’s best to go for tight fitted and secure to minimize any potential nip slips or unfortunate casualties. Because let’s face it, as much as we appreciate the Alo Yoga, clean LA yoga girl aesthetic, it would be unwise to think that those low impact, lightweight sets could withstand the heat of a HIIT, spin, or even kickboxing class.
