In 1975, a small storefront opened its doors on Calle Juan Flórez in A Coruña, Spain. Its founder, Amancio Ortega, had a simple yet radical idea, make trend-forward clothing quickly and affordably. In direct response to what people actually wanted, the world witnessed the creation of Zara. Fast-forward to 2025, and Zara stands as a global force, with a presence in 98 countries and over 200 online markets. To mark its 50th anniversary, the brand is celebrating the style legends who helped shape its world.

Directed by Steven Meisel, the visionary behind some of fashion’s most iconic imagery, the film captures a performance set to Donna Summer’s disco classic “I Feel Love.” Shot in Meisel’s signature style, the models wear Zara’s new monochrome tuxedo capsule, styled by Karl Templer. Beauty is led by the legendary Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, both longtime collaborators of Meisel. Casting by Piergiorgio Del Moro completes the vision, cementing this as a campaign only Zara could bring to life.

The project was initiated by Marta Ortega Pérez, Inditex’s non-executive chair and a longtime admirer of Meisel’s work. “Creativity is the heart of Zara, it is the characteristic that defines us,” she says. “This campaign is a testament to everything the teams at Zara have created over the past five decades, honoring their enthusiasm, talent, and boundless creativity.”
