As the weeks get colder and the seasons change, the time to update our fall wardrobes quickly approaches. Thankfully, Zara’s newest collaboration with fashion design icon Stefano Pilati delivers the warmest and chicest collection for this upcoming season. With Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen as the face of the campaign, shot by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, the collection offers both menswear and womenswear, bringing a certain je ne sais quoi that is severely lacking in the current state of fashion.

With comfort in mind, the ready-to-wear collection has everything you need to build the ultimate capsule wardrobe, including the classic minimalist colors for fall with shades of greys, whites, and blacks represented in the garments along with accents of reds and khaki. These are present in accessories like their immaculate red leather crossbody bag, experimental multi-pocket leather bag, and their khaki-colored woven leather ankle boots and loafers.

From contrasting suits with drawstring waists to transparent mesh shirts, oversized wool coats to leather basketball shorts, this collection has a bit of everything appealing to the masses. Stand-out looks in the collection include embroidered cream-colored jeans adorned with miniature embroidered bananas that appear to fall to the ground, following the structure of oversized jeans that begin to flare and slouch out as they approach the hemline.
Bringing a much-needed colorful look to the collection, a pair of horizontal striped knit pants is perfect for the quintessential post-night-out coffee run outfit. The stripes that consume the flared pants are filled with muted colors of baby pinks, blues, greens, browns, cream, and black. They offer a stark contrast to the featured velvet jeans with a straight-fit relaxed silhouette made of cotton denim with a finish achieved with a washed velvet effect.

This collaboration, while rooted in minimalism, brilliantly incorporates experimental and bolder elements allowing the collection to appeal a bit to every aesthetic and encourage the conservative dresser to take more risks in their everyday dressing.
