Menswear can get lost when it comes to summer collections. Some brands think all men look for is something easy: shorts and a shirt, a linen set. While that might be true for some, Zegna knows it’s not for all, and their Summer 2026 collection was anything but boring.

The show took place at the Dubai Opera, which has been turned into Villa Zegna for the week of June 12th. The Opera also scored the show, as the models walked on a sand runway. On point for the show being titled “Oasis.”

Summer isn’t just about styles; it’s about cuts. The silhouettes were more boxy, and even their iconic Il Conte jacket was a little bit roomier. Some looks were deconstructed, but never messy. A better word would be “undone:” shirts unbuttoned and tied up with matching material, and blazers cuffed to the elbows.

Materials were what you could expect for summer: loose knitwear, crinkled linens. However, we saw them shown in gorgeous shades of burnt orange, dark olive green, and muted pink. Materials were also used in unexpected ways. There were anorak jackets in knit and lightweight leather jackets, without all the insulation.

The styling was excellent. The muted tones of yellow and orange with full co-ord sets, shirtless suiting with flipped-up lapels, and shorts with matching knitwear. There was an emphasis on workwear, with pockets littering most of the shirts and jackets. Accessories seen were moccasins or bare feet, and some incredibly large, carry-on-esque bags.

Although summer is hot and people want to be comfortable, you don’t have to sacrifice fashion for wearability. With the right materials, anything can be a summer staple, and according to Zegna, that includes a leather jacket, as well.
All we can say is in this oasis, everyone is dressed impeccably.
