After four years since their debut in 2016, the wait is finally over – BLACKPINK’s full debut album titled The Album is finally coming out on October 2.

The group’s label, YG Entertainment, officially announced the news earlier this week. This will be their first full album, and it will consist of the CD, photo books, photo cards, and more.

Their full album follows a series of accomplishments. Earlier this year, the K-pop megastars collaborated with Lady Gaga on “Sour Candy” and they also broke YouTube’s record for the most viewed video within 24 hours with “How You Like That.” The group was also the first K-pop girl group to play Coachella.

The first single for the new album comes out in August with a mystery guest feature. Fans of the group have already speculated who the guest might be, but YG Entertainment asked fans to wait for the official announcement on the mystery collaboration.
