This morning, along with various other artists, Ari Lennox dropped some new music to help us all get through this quarantine. However, rather than a whole new album, the songs on the EP are reinventions of three songs off of her 2019 debut studio album Shea Butter Baby.

The first track on the album, “BMO”, features rising pop star Doja Cat. The track was previously a hit but the addition of Doja Cat verse undeniably adds value. Following is “I Been” featuring SMINO, who is also featured on Doja Cat’s “Don’t Bite.” The third and last track is a remix of “Facetime” featuring Durand Burnarr. The project gives an overall new feel while keeping Lennox’s signature sound which made her first album such a success.

In other music news, other albums dropped this morning include Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s PARTYMOBILE.
