Launching August 13th on Orebella.com (and at Ulta Beauty stores starting August 24), Eternal Roots is Bella Hadid’s latest olfactory offering and perhaps her most personal yet. Designed to feel both grounded and radiant, the fragrance builds on the foundation of Orebella, the clean scent brand she launched in May 2023 in response to her lifelong sensitivities to traditional perfume.

Centered around skin-first formulations and nourishing ingredients, the brand reimagines fragrance as ritual. It’s hydrating, alcohol-free, and made to glow from within.

Created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, known for his work with Byredo and Atelier Cologne, the fragrance is a juicy-woody blend that unfolds in layers. It opens with lychee, bergamot, and pink pepper, softens into raspberry blossom and suede, and settles into an earthy base of papyrus, vetiver, patchouli, and a hint of birch smoke.

“I wanted this fragrance to be a reminder to pause and reflect,” says Bella Hadid, a V cover star we’ve celebrated more than once. “It’s about embracing joy, strength, and balance throughout life’s journey.”

The name Eternal Roots speaks to staying anchored while still reaching upward. That message is echoed in the packaging. The brand’s signature sculptural geode bottle is reimagined in earthy terracotta tones, with a bi-phase formula that glows when shaken. It catches the light like a gemstone (specifically, a lychee-colored one), turning every spray into a ritual.

As with the rest of the Orebella line, the formula is built on the brand’s proprietary Orelixir base. It’s an alcohol-free infusion of snow mushroom and five nourishing oils: camellia, almond, olive, jojoba, and shea. That means it hydrates while it scents, and is suitable even for sensitive skin.

Whether you’re a longtime Orebella fan or simply scent-curious, Eternal Roots is a fragrance that will become part of your ritual.
