Billie Eilish Sings ‘No Time to Die’ Live at the Brits

The jaw-dropping first live performance of the new Bond theme song at the O2 in London.

We are no stranger to an eerie yet beautiful live performance from 18-year-old sensation Billie Eilish. Last night at the Brit Awards in London, Eilish gave us yet another stunning live performance with her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell, this time for their newest song written with the intention of being the next James Bond theme.

Much like her other performances, Eilish sat on a stool, accompanied by Finneas on the piano, in an outfit embellished head-to-toe. This performance, however, has a darker tone, suiting the song perfectly. Between the lighting, a decaying statue towering behind her, and the dramatic orchestra, the stage was set for a stellar performance.

As if playing the O2 isn’t a big enough deal for any 18-year-old, the choice of having Eilish create the newest Bond theme song is a notable accomplishment. The past two theme songs have been written by Sam Smith and Adele (not to mention British stars to keep on-brand with the films). They also both won the Oscar for Best Original Song. Could ‘No Time to Die’ keep the trend alive?
