Blackpink’s Rosé Is Tiffany & Co.’s New Global Ambassador
“This is a dream come true.”
BLACKPINK’s Rosé is on a roll: after becoming the first solo female South Korean musician in the top 10 Digital Song Sales with her debut solo single “On The Ground” and breaking records with her debut single album R, the K-pop artist has now been appointed as the new global ambassador for Tiffany & Co.
The singer broke the news on Instagram, where she posted two photos of herself wearing pieces from the label’s HardWear line. “Growing up, [Tiffany & Co.] was always such an iconic jewelry brand and I’m so proud to be working with them,” she wrote. “This is a dream come true.”
Rosé stars in the upcoming 2021 Tiffany HardWear digital campaign, which is set to launch on Friday. The line debuted in 2017 and was inspired by a 1971 bracelet from the label’s archive, along with the intense rhythm of New York City. The collection has bold creations that play with industrial shapes, featuring gauge links and eye-catching spheres.
For the campaign, the singer wears the line’s graphic 18k yellow and rose (of course) gold links encrusted with pavé diamonds. Rosé has previously worn some of the Tiffany HardWear pieces in BLACKPINK’s “Ice Cream” music video with Selena Gomez, which was released last August – so the partnership shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to BLINKs.
This is Rosé’s second designation as global ambassador for an international luxury label, following Saint Laurent in 2020. But BLACKPINK is no stranger to such collaborations: Lisa represents Celine and Jisoo has been recently named both Fashion and Beauty ambassador for Dior, while V Magazine’s “Chanel Book” cover star Jennie has been working with the French house since 2018.
