Frankies Bikinis Collaborates with Naomi Osaka

Bikinis and one-pieces made for all women

Naomi Osaka, superstar tennis player debuts her foray into swimwear with celeb favorite Frankies’ Bikinis. Osaka seems to have a whole lot of exciting projects in the works, very much in the vein of inclusivity. Now teaming up with the swimwear brand that has garnered a cult following for it’s body-positive ethos, she has co-designed bikinis and one-pieces the aim of inspiring confidence in all women.

I think it’s really important for brands to design for all women, not just certain sizes or shapes or body types. For me, it’s important to align myself with brands that make inclusivity a priority,” said Osaka in a press release. “Frankies Bikinis holds high standards for inclusivity, which allows everyone to be able to find products that make them feel confident and empowered. That’s exactly what we aimed to do with this collection.”

Expected to launch across two drops, the first release boasts a variety of fabrics and new styles. Some silhouettes are illustrated in prints like “Sweet Pea” flora, “Candyland” and “Libra Strope,” meanwhile the Osaka One Piece takes on a more modest look with a collared polo top and a tie at the waist. New satin-esque swim material adds some shimmer to the lineup, arriving in mellow blue “Rain,” and pastel green “Honeydew.”

From alluring cut-out one-pieces, and high-waisted bottoms, to a new swim shirt and matching sarong, the second part of the collaboration aims to be just as exciting, popping off with green marble swirls, bright yellow, soft pink and a checkerboard print.

With prices ranging from $80 to $190, Naomi Osaka x Frankie’s Bikini’s will be released online at 9 am EST on May 10.
