Gentle Monster x Coperni Hack The System in New Collaboration

The two modern brands come together to create two new shapes that transport us through the bounds of technology.

Eyewear innovator Gentle Monster and Parisian label Coperni have joined forces to create the ultimate range of digital frames. Taking a further step into the futuristic since their Pre-2022 collection, the two brands partner to present two new styles. Titled ‘5G,’ the campaign was shot by Parisian film directed Alexandre Silberstein in a nod to the infamous The Matrix, featuring singer Le Diouck as Trinity who was joined by models Louise Roberts and Jeanne Zhang to model the technological universe of Gentle Monster x Coperni.

Inspired by cult classics of the 90s like Robocop and Back to The Future, the 5G technology has inspired the collaborative effort to create two models of glasses: 5G and 5G Bold. The 5G bold offers a take on the two brand’s innovative, digital DNA with accentuated goggle-style frames highlighted with an embellished Coperni logo and refined line details. The frames are offered in black and white. The 5G of the 5G Bold is a minimalist iteration with a cat-eye silhouette offered in black, white, and pink.  

The Gentle Monster x Coperni frames have officially been released today at Gentle Monster and Coperni online and in stores.
