Kappa’s Spring 2021 collection is here!

The Italian sportswear brand introduced their new collection earlier this week featuring a collaboration with rising reggaeton popstar, Mariah Angeliq. The collection will see the brand’s classic tracksuits along with a new assortment of 90’s infused apparel donned with soft pastels and shimmering Lorex.

Mariah Angeliq’s collaboration with Kappa follows the brand’s collaboration with Colombian singer and songwriter Karol G this past December. Angelique was chosen as the face for this Kappa campaign for her ability to embody the brand’s ethos along with her personal credo of being fearless, promoting female empowerment and always being unapologetically authentic.

Shot by music and lifestyle photographer Orli Arias, the campaign took place in the heart of Little Havana, Miami, FL as well as in Mariah Angeliq’s own backyard at her family’s restaurant and local favorite, Yambo in Miami, FL.

“I’m super excited and grateful to be part of the new campaign for Kappa! I love how they are consistently tapped in with the Latino community and put on for other minorities,” said Mariah Angeliq. “I’m happy I can represent the Latinx community and show that we can be the new faces of this thing,” she continued.

As for the collection itself, Kappa introduced a new version of their iconic tracksuit along with soccer warm-ups, biker shorts, leggings, sports bras, bodysuits, and track pants. It will range from $35 to $100 and will be available for purchase in-stores and online at Kappa.com
