The schedule for Milan Fashion Week has been announced today. It lists who’s showing, where, when and how. In a constantly changing world that’s dictated by Covid, the fashion industry continues to adapt, and innovate ways to showcase collections, designers, and new talents. This season will be no exception. Milan Fashion Week will see a host of designers present their work with IRL shows and/or with conceptual presentations, such as film-like fashion features as seen with previous seasons.

The most successful Fashion films during these uncertain times have come from the creative minds of Jeremy Scott at Moschino, John Galliano at Maison Margiela, and of course Casey Cadwallader at Mugler. These designers have really pushed the boundaries of fashion and film, using this media to showcase their ideas and tell us a story. While we stan these visionary movies we have to admit that there’s nothing quite like the palpable thrill, and excitement of a real-life show. We can’t wait to see what Milan has to offer.

The first day of MFW kicks off with fashion shows from Alberta Ferretti, Diesel, and Fendi. All eyes will be on Creative Director Kim Jones as he presents his latest vision for Fendi, following a series of well-received, and praised collections.
Prada, MM6 Maison Margiela, and Moschino will show the following day. Then both Gucci and Versace will present IRL collections on Friday, each show a highly anticipated event of the season. The week will close with digital shows from independent designers.

Milan Fashion Week runs from February 22nd-28th. Check out the full schedule here.
