Dark, darker, darkest.

While not completely uncommon for the runway, this week brought us a lot of dark, bold, and striking makeup. The burgundy lips seen at Rodarte were perfectly suited for their show held at St. Bartholomew’s Church on Park ave.

Beautiful braids.

If there was one hair trend that seems like it was seen on every runway, its braids. Whether it be the braids draped to the floor in Tia Adeola’s show, or the messy fishtails in Rebecca Minkoff’s, we’re here for it all.

Carefully crafted manicures.

The beauty is in the details! This fashion week manicures stole the spotlight in a handful of shows. We got grungey black chipped nails, elegant nudes, and matching lip and nail sets.

Studded skin?

Probably the most eye-catching beauty trend of the week goes to the faux facial piercings at Dion Lee. Makeup artist Erin Parsons created a series of studded patterns on the models’ faces and hands which perfectly encapsulated the aesthetic of the collection.
