Roberto Cavalli’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection illustrates self-expression within human identity. The line’s debut through the lens of designer Fausto Puglisi announced as the fashion house’s creative consultant last year, embodies his vision of singularity through exterior representation to debut a collective assemblage of striking designs. Its unconventional nature grounded in authenticity presents a collection, exuding one of candor via the medium of a punkish style and adjacent to vivid florals and trim arrangements. For V, Puglisi sat down with Kevin Ponce during his debut release and shared his sentiments about the (at the time) premiere collection and meanings behind its conceptualization.

This season’s collection features outwear pieces including mohair sweaters and cardigans, wools, denim with patterned animal prints of zebra and python, stud-embellished sneakers, stretch boots, and booties. Accessories include some looks accompanied by fanny packs and belts adorned with chain accouterments. Its designs spotlight an overall darker-toned palette aligned with the collection’s symbolization highlighting the punk esthetic. The collection predominately showcases shades of onyx, walnut with bronze tinges, off-white, indigo, bright tangerine accented with marigold across its various articles, combined to form a singular unit.
