Model Kaia Gerber and BLACKPINK member Lisa have debuted Celine’s new handbag, the Matelassé Monochrome. Chic and simple, the new style gives a sneak peek at a new collection that has yet to be revealed, giving the two stars the reigns for the successful tease.

Seen on both of their Instagram accounts, the new style includes a quilted black base, a centered Celine logo made from gold hardware, and a gold chain to match so that the bag can comfortably sit on your shoulder.

The parfumerie ambassador of Celine, Lisa, posted twice on her Instagram with the Maltassé bag hanging from her shoulder as she traveled through Paris, matching the gold details of the style with Celine’s Triomphe 01 sunglasses casual style of wide-leg trousers and white long-sleeve.  Celine It-girl Kaia Gerber played with an all-black version of the style, taking her Matelassé Monochrome out for a night in Central Paris, pairing it with a black blazer and the Triomphe 01’s in black.

Without a doubt, the Matelassé Monochrome will be seen everywhere once made available later this year after the debut of Fall/Winter 22, as seen by the success of the Triomphe Bag and the 16 handbags. It’s hard not to be impatient, but we’ll be on the lookout when it debuts on the Celine website and in stores.
